In 2010 I began to anneal 25 ACP, 30 ACP, 380 ACP, and 44 Magnum brass so that I could size them into jackets for Cast Into Place Bullets Jakets instead of trying to swage them. I am at a loss for finding a heat treated alloy that will not quickly wear out while reducing the annealed jackets into the calibers that I want. In case you are wondering, its 25 ACP for 270 caliber, 30 ACP for 338 caliber, 380 ACP for 357 caliber, 5,7X28 for 30 caliber, and 44 Spcl/44 Mag for 457/458 caliber. The 40 S&W can be expanded with a 41 Magnum expander then sized to 0.429 and used as is. These can only be poured with a Nose Pour mold but each case has to be preheated so that it is still hot whenever the hot lead pours into it.
