Drilling Aluminum

I do not have a lot of experience, but I work a lot with brass without an issue. When I switch to aluminum, I find it sticky and need to use WD40 or coolant to keep it from sticking. Brass I cut dry. I suspect it depends on type of brass or aluminum and SFPM.

My mistake on the Tom's Technique's tip for dulling the drill bit: plastic and brass, not necessarily aluminum. I've drill a lot of mystery aluminum and can't recall ever having a drill bit digging it like it can on brass. Like darkzero suggested above, try drilling the holes and if it starts grabbing, try dulling the tip with a stone.
