Curious if they make a DRO with a function where you can zero in something like small rotary table that would stay on the table and when you wanted to use it hit a button to be able to bring it back to original zero on the readout.

Not only can you do that, you can store the data for each corner of your vise on the mill, points on fixture plates you leave permanently attached....

I just bought two DROs from Ditron. D80s

Many people have recommended them. Best to buy direct from ditron via alibaba or aliexpress

but research all the models and scales to assure you get one that has all the features you need
