Dumore 77-011 what size lathe

I have this Dumore tool post grinder and want to know if it’ll work on a 12 x 36 size lathe.


Also, any idea on value of it won’t work for me?

I would think you could make it work, mounting it on the compound would be the most work...

I'd want to clean (disassemble and clean) all the bearings and inspect the belt, perhaps replace it.

Yes, cleanup would be a given. I also have a bunch of wheels that go with it.

This and the tapping head were in my storage here. Think I should bring them back to California to add to my already full shop?

I bought a 77 at an estate sale. It ended up being way too big for my SB9 and Wards 10. Doing some research they were intended for large lathes. 14” and up.

You might be able to get it to work on your 12”. Worth a shot.
