DYI hose clamp tool

Just watched this simple tool in action, neat little tool even though it may not be practical when good SS clamps can be bought readily but the tool itself is a good project;

Simple to make. I made one but I can't remember where I put it, which tells you something. This tool makes good clamps but you need to have enough access to the hose and fitting in order to manipulate the wire and swing the tool around. Sometimes, this is just not the case. In fact, most of the time it is not the case, which is why I don't use it often and which is why I forget where I put it.

That tool has been around for many years more that stated, I have one of the original ones, no aluminum or Rol Pins, I remember back in the mid 1950s seeing that method used on air hoses at a friend's father's machine shop. Commonly used was not stainless steel wire, but baleing wire ---.
The original tool was much shorter than the one demonstrated in the video, and did not have the rol pin near the end.
