End mill repair

I have a 2 inch end mill that looks brand new. I got it in a box of tooling . Does any one know of someone who can sharpen it and fix the shank on it ? It looks like they tried to cut something in one pass and broke the shank that goes in the mill . The end mill is 2 inch goes down to 1 inch then to 1/2 that goes in the mill . I don't know what I will use this for but don't like things hanging around that don't work. . Thanks Mirage

Definitely sounds like a non standard. Have a picture? Perhaps some recommendations could be made after seeing it.

There are companies that rebuild endmills, drills, insert holders etc. I can not remember the name of the one that was written up in Cutting Tool Engineering magazine in the last year.
