The type of pry bar is called a Johnson Bar and can be rented. Dave

Those are excellent tools, the pro machinery movers that move our 14,000# mills use those all the time. :encourage:

I would try running the mill around on a pallet jack before they load it so you can get a feel for the weight. It is not a fun feeling to be halfway unloaded when you realize you may have underestimated the effects of the weight. Bad enough with 300lbs, 2000lbs is pretty unforgiving.

You may find the pallet jack perfectly capable, or you may start to look into renting a forklift at your end.

Really, why?
Sorry about that… just the reaction I had as they were loading it on the trailer….

It was only a 20 miles drive… but the longest 20 miles…. Took it easy and made it home fine.
I need to run to Lowe’s to buy a wrench!! I hate not having my tools here… I need to loosen the head bolts to turn the head so I can get it inside…

I played with the jack pallet… and I can move it fine… I should be okay

You can use the deck points, and the straps to slow the jack going down the ramp.
