FreeCAD - Gorgeous! I am a little intimidated!

see, that makes no sense to me. it seems to me you have to be a computer engineer to run it. i have always create a folder on my desktop like ncfiles and then be able to browes to that folder. So when i want to go find it to put on a thumb drive where do i look with that statement.

so i have been watching sliptonic vids on yt its starting to make sense watching him. now if i can do it. thanks.
 
Yes, he has some good ones and also Joko EngineeringHelp. He has some on transitioning from Solidworks.
 
ok so i watched some more vids. the " --inches" argument is not available in the centroid post.
 
I did not know that. I'm not sure what the differences are between centroid and linuxcnc output. Maybe, you could use the linuxcnc processor?
 
Ya, i tried that last night but i still cant get it to apply the arguments. something not right.

I just loaded on another computer, nothing works. stuff disappears Completely unstable as of now not usable.
