Took an old "Primos - Group therapy" rifle rest and modified it a little. You can take the back part off to use just as a front bench rest. So I stripped the paint off cut about an inch out of the main center post and then painted it "Wrinkle" black paint. Then took the basic pad and rest platform off and maid my own. Got my idea from looking at several that are on the market and combined the features that they had and this is what I came up with. It's made out of aluminum. So it's heavy and steady but not overly heavy. The rest has vertical and horizontal (windage) adjustment. I went a little overboard with the polishing but I thing it makes it look high end.
This is my first project with my new PM-25MV mill and PM-1127-VF-LB lathe. To be honest this is my first attempt to do anything with machining.
