thanks to the members for the suggestions...at this stage, I am just trying to help Pops figure out what the set may be worth to the right individual (ie. someone who knows how to use it)...he is old skool, so prefers to have an idea of value so he knows what to expect...ebay can be a sink or swim kind of acid test for items which depends on timing...when he is comfortable with a number, then he may consider posting it for sale...thanks for the suggestion of the classified forum & the feedback

Hi David, glad to see you posted the question.
I can understand how it's difficult to know the value of more rare pieces of equipment.

In that other thread linked above I did post pictures (including asking price) in 2018 of a very similar unit I saw at my local used tool store back in 2017.
