I have a 8 X 14 Lathemaster, the CQ6125 model and I would like to cut 3/4X 10 threads with but don't understand the manual's symbols.. I can figure out the gear combination I just can't tell where they go on the lathe. I don't understand their symbols for lead screw and transmission.... I don't know what gear to change first. Any help would be appreciated.

Here are two photos that may be of some help. Thanks

On the bottom shaft, is that a spacer outside the gear. From what the chart says for threading, the gear on that shaft can be in either position to cut ten teeth. It doesn't look right. If it is a spacer, to cut threads you will put the gear outside and the spacer in. Gear B will drive gear D. Gear D is on the same shaft as Gear E, it will drive Gear F which drives the Leadscrew.

"Billy G"

Gear "B" --- Changed to 70 tooth

Gear "C" --- Left as is

Gear "D" --- Changed to 72 tooth

Gear "E" --- Changed to 40 tooth

Gear "F" --- Changed to 60 tooth and location (inside or outside) moved if necessary.
