@woodchucker: the mill is a George Alexander tool maker, a british clone of the german DECKEL FP1 . it was made under liscence in uk for a time. I recently acquired a Deckel FP1 that I am in the process of restoring. Just realized that the GA is made as well if not better than the original. really surprised me. But then quality had a different meaning when UK was Great Britain!
