I recently bought this sheet metal shear machine. I'm not even sure what to call it. I can't find any info on it. What I do know is:
It has "GLOBE" cast into the side of the frame.
It is a combination machine with two functions; an edge crimper station, and a rotary shear. The handle is currently on the crimper, you move it to use the shear.
In the pic the shear blades are separated, they should be pushed together.

I can't find any info about this machine or company, or even a similar type one for that matter. Does anyone know anything about it?
Thanks!

Here's another, so they are out there. Might be an offshore manufacturer although the lettering on the casting looks like it may be older North American. Can't find much else but I'll keep sniffing around.

I have seen them called simply bead rollers, sheet-metal rotary machines, or even crimpers.
The two shafts are geared together at one end so that they rotate together.
One shaft is adjustable to align the dies.
With the proper dies they can do many operations, including shearing.
Bead rollers are typically used to make recesssed reinforcing beads in sheet metal panels to strengthen them.
With gear-like dies, they can make the corrugated ends on heating ducts such that the end can nest inside another piece of the same diameter tube.

New machines are still available:

I recently picked up an old used one at my local used tool dealer, and then spent more money on dies:

I want to connect a motor, speed reducer and foot pedal so that I can use two hands on the work.

As Brian mentioned, that looks like a bead roller with rotary shear dies, almost all bead rollers come with a set of shear dies but what I know as manual sheet metal shear (with those type of dies) are called mini manual sheet metal cutter or throatless shear , there are throatless shears that come with curved blades ,round dies , I myself own a 12" benchtop shear with straight blades, I think yours is what metal fabricators used to use in a production type shops .

The one you now own looks like a good candidate to be quite useful if torn down , cleaned up and readjusted as long as the gears are in good shape , here's a couple of videos on the bead roller type and the mini cutter:

Bead rollers are also called universal machines by the old timers. As you can tell they can shear, crimp, form, tip edges or flanges and form beads in sheetmetal. With the right tooling there isn’t anything you can’t do. I have one of the plate type ones and so it’s not as strong a frame like a cast iron frame. So it’s not generally used for shearing. I think it is restricted to thinner than 22ga.
