Bad that they left if out in the rain and weather for a while. When there is rust streaks down the front and everything looks rusty.

hey! At least it's in one piece, you should see what the Clausing lathe at UT Austin looks like (see thread above this one).

Shame and it's bid price shows it. Good way to treat a tool room lathe.

They were trying to grow some new lathes... I guess they didn't plant that lathe deep enough!

looks like it was in the hurricane , motor flooded?
Likely, just flooded from lots of rain. Hurricane didn't help it any either. My brother works at a facility just south of College Station in Navasota. They got wind and rain, but were not flooded out.
