gtn2 insert for aluminum

I routinely part 2 inch solid 6061 aluminum I was wondering what yall use in this size for aluminum parting? ?? Thanks for ya'lls input

I use a GTN-3 or GTN-2 carbide insert in an appropriate holder. Can of WD-40 on hand for lubricant. Extend the blade about 1/4" beyond the depth of cut needed.

I use mostly Kyocera small part tools, excellent chip formation and surface finishes.

I use my Grizzly 4 x 6 cutoff saw to part it off. Then face the sawed off part to dimension and call it good.
