So, today I started a new project in the shop: A Hand Gonne. One of the first black powder handheld firearms ever made.
Here are a couple pics of the "barrel" getting bored out (.50 cal was average with an 8" barrel and about 12"-18" overall length of the metal bit).
Notice my lack of chuck - I can't seem to use a 4-jaw for the life of me and my 3-jaw doesn't want to fit, so I went old school here. Kinda proud for figuring that out.
