You could use double locking casters. These lock the rolling and swiveling ability. Once locked, they limit this pivot type of movement that you experience with the casters that just lock the wheel from rolling.
Thanks for the tip but my concern is when I'm moving it and the castors are unlocked. This thing is really heavy up top. Anyhoo, it's done now and the PVC pads are quite stable while providing room to slip a hand truck underneath. I made the pads adjustable to comp for uneven floor surfaces but it turned out I didn't need it. The bottom legs are bolted on so after I got the unit to it's final resting place I loosened all the bottom bolts and then tightened them again allowing the legs to conform to the floor. No wobble!
