If this crane gives me any lip at all, I am just going to stick weld the leg to the base, and that will be the end of that.
I am considering bringing it back but it is a PITA with all the damn ice around my shop, and I have had it for over 45 days.

We have had great response that way.
Advise you cannot take it back now but do need action.
It may be the vertical part is cut wrong as the arms are likely fixture punched but asking for exact dimensions or a second set of arms to be shipped is an ooriin.
Try contacting them and see what happens.
We got a check once full price for an item purchased on sale but no receipt and they paid for shipping back.
We had local stores but shipped it.
