Here is one I made several years ago. I took the cheapo caliper and cut the jaws off on my bandsaw, finished the cut edges on my belt sander, drilled a mounting hole on the front and made a small bracket to capture the depth probe. The front mount is a shaft collar with a small offset bracket welded to it with a threaded hole for a screw to mount the front end of the caliper.
Now you can buy a ready-made kit from Grizzly; couldn't back when I made this.
