Well, I got my first shipment of blanks in and I have to tell you I like them. They are 1911 style double stack-commander frames so with this batch I am going to do a 9 mm, 10 mm and 45 cal. possibly a 38 cal depends on availability of parts on the market. I have got two more shipments coming in next week a patch of single stacks and an assortment of slides. So tell me what you all think and any suggestions you might have on how to finish them. The one part that I am worried about is the plunger tube on the side that is a little over an inch to drill and will require a long aircraft bit and a custom jig to hold it and the frame. So I am open for suggestions and will keep you all updated and at the end will have the process in a step by step tutorial.
