I think I finished up my belt drive reduction assembly today, I'm running 4:1 reduction..

I'll look them over again tomorrow to make sure I didnt leave anything out, was tired when I got finished with them, had to just walk away..

I like the old school drilled I-beam look, I have a drilled I-beam going on my old 27 ford so I decided to drill a few more holes around the perimeter of the motor plate to fancy up the brackets a bit, plus its weight reduction ;)

I ordered a set of aluminum gears from Motiontek in Canada and have been working on automating my feed on my lathe/mill combo. Its a Horrible fright 5980 but it has served me well for what I paid for it (nothing, it was traded for a debt I was owed). It uses the same XL series timing belt so if I can get the motor to turn slowly enough I will have added power feed to the X axis. Y is next. Then tie em together as an NC system.
