We picked up a Lindsay Cutting tool shell mill, but it was missing one of the keeper screws.

Looks like a set screw, but has offset end the locks the insert into the pocket.

Still available, about 8 bucks a copy but only come in pk of 10.

They suggested we buy some setscrews, so we stopped by our distributor and got some 3/4 inch long, 1/4 28 setscrews.

They will not go all the way through, and we use them backwards, the allen goes in from back.

Placed original in the mill in drill chuck and measured 0.010 offset.

Did not have correct 4 jaw for SB, but had a different one, so 4 jaw into the 3 jaw chuck.

Had a drill chuck with straight shank, that in the 4 jaw.

Got dead center with a pin in the chuck, then offset 0.010.

Put the tool post grinder on and make the first one. Snuck up on size, then just used carriage to moveover.

It's good, so we made it but 5 more. Just insert the screw and bring over the carriage.

So, 5 bucks got 10 screws, made 6, and saved 80 bucks!
