Just been on the phone to Anchor pumps in uk trying to get a suds/coolant pump for the lathe, But to suit an external tank and single phase 240V.
Got asked all sorts of questions this morning about the pump I am looking for.
1. What is the application
2. In-line or submersible
3. What pressure/flow rate etc...
When I told them the application was for a centre lathe, I was asked what was being pumped!

Go for a Little Giant drop in pump. Lasts forever. Many sizes available. For coolant, you don't need much pressure, and those pumps are perfect.

+1 on Little Giant.

Also if you can buy online from Harbor Freight, check their manuals for a replacement pump for one of their parts cleaners. That pump will handle about any solvent or hydrocarbon you can run through it.

I have sorted my coolant pump and ordered one over the phone from a company in Sheffield U.K. by the name of Beatson fans & motors, OR (www.beatson.co.uk) Should be here by end of this week.

P.S. Thanks for all comments.

Alex.
