How do you keep track of points that are dulled? I have a hard time telling other than to try them. Is there a handy way to keep track of points that are dulled so I don't have to try them to know?

For the ones that aren't obvious to my eye I mark em with a red paint marker.

Many of mine have a Mark or a dot on one corner. I try to start with that every time and I can usually tell at least one corner to know if I have flipped it or not and start at the dot again on the other side. Not perfect but has worked well so far.

I look at them with 5X eyeglasses. You can tell if they are new or used.

I use Dykem steel blue to paint the worn corners of inserts. It holds up well against cutting oil, abrasive action of chips, etc.
