I got free mystery tools....

Looks like an automatic center punch with the tapered collar to center in a hole. Handy for hinges.

Yes, that's exactly what it is. Works great too, just needs some work with oil and a scotch brite pad.

The Mitutoyo combination is weird.....the rule is actually marked Starret yet it fits in the Mitutoyo mechanism like they were made for each other.
 
The majority of square accessories are indeed interchangable . :encourage:
 
Vargus is a deburring tool. Needs a curved blade that plugs into end and spins round and round.

Black tool leaning on lid is safety wire pliers.
