Ideas Needed To Get Smooth Bore On Tees Removing Pipe Threads

Can you buy or borrow a die? If so then cut a straight taper on the stub using the compound set at the angle of the threads. Use a die holder and push with the tail stock to get the die started square on the taper.
Threads might not need to be full depth. Just thinking out loud here.

or

check the nipples in the bin at your hardware store to see if you can find one straight enough.

I'm kind of lost. What is the size of the Tee? If you are looking for straight threads on a 2" nipple, I have one that was cut on a threading machine a few days ago. It's a reject because the other end was too close to the chuck and ruined the threads. If you can use it, you can have it.
 
Thanks all. I got 1 in ID nipples that screwed in tee and just needed to drill/tap setscrews. 1 in. Rod was close sliding fit.
Rest of project is simple turn bore & mill.
I will finish project tomorrow ...
