Got this bit in a bundle of NOS mill bits. I don’t know what it is and wondering if someone could let me know. It’s got a 45 degree point and the flute edges are sharp. Is it a spotting drill, chamfer bit, or some sort of reaming drill bit? It’s marked “Amamco Tools DH-5030”. Checked the amamco site but it does not look like they sell this type of tool anymore. Stub drill . If it's carbide it would be CCBD . Carbide circuit board drill .

The flutes look too long for a spotting drill. Probably a stub drill, maybe a bit big for circuit boards though. I have some similar called mill drills, they can be used for drilling, spotting, countersinking, milling slots and chamfers. They can save a few tool changes.
