Yep. If I had a surface grinder that would be in my hot little hands as I type. They are awesome. I used those for many years when making molds. They were in the neighborhood of $1800 in the mid 80’s

Nope, it will do angles also.

Not as versatile as the J$S, and a little harder to setup, but still a steal at $20.
