Mine isn't some glorious industrial machine. I've seen that Harbor Freight has a version of the Grizzly G0561 I bought. So nothing special really.

See, I determined that an odd piece of aluminum scrap I had would make the perfect 'jack plate' for a speaker I'm building. Just a piece of odd shaped aluminum that would yield a certain size to replace what I'd outgrown. Took a little thinking to make a proper brace - thus supporting the odd shape, but went quick without fuss!20230301 01.jpg

So, here are the results of the leftovers of a burned up guitar amp that went on to become a monitor, recycled into a jackplate for my new version of bass cabinet + other pieces waiting for their own next adventure all in 4 cuts!!! This is the sort of cut that loves to chew up metal & throw the blade - but with the right brace (& a good belt sander to form it) this job was made easy & painless.
