I have a 645 mill I got from an auction about a year ago. 1961 vintage originally from a technical high school, but in storage for the last 30 - something years. The only significant issue (so far) is the clutch engaging lever (part# 4414-A), which had been broken, presumably during a previous move. The handle part is missing.

Wells Index no longer has that part available, and I'm wondering if anyone knows of someone who might be parting-out a machine, or any other source of parts. I'm sure I can figure out a way to make it work as is, but I figured I would at least ask.

Some pictures are attached. Suggestions welcomed.

Thanks,
Brian

Any idea what the original part looked like?

It looks like just the handle is missing on the end..... You can probably fix that part....

Easy-peasy: make a new handle extension and do a braze repair. That is what I would do. Nice milling machine.

Thanks for the quick responses!
I most likely will end up making a new handle - better than the rest of that part missing : )
