Is this true ? Mike Wolfe(American pickers) Died at age 59.

I liked some of the information related to the items, while the prices were - whatever!

I found this lamp at an antique shop for $140. When I saw it, it leaped into my hand and I looked it over and had already decided that it was coming home. I would like to find another for the other bed side table, but they are not easy to find apparently. Pricing from a few hundred to ridiculous $1K! Some of the sellers must be sniffing something! Maybe they were watching Mike!

Bob Petersen passed away back in 2022... Mike Wolfe is alive and well.

Those news that he is dead, that was a hoax.
 
Glad to hear Mike is still topside. The show is entertaining but it is is only semi-reality. They have scouts that go out weeks ahead and see what's in the collections before they go and film. That lets them know in advance it its worth the trip and gives them time to prepare, do research on items, etc.

Might have been I was surprised to see it. When I saw his pic it showed his age was catching up on him. Was a great show!
