I have a Gorton mastermill 1-22
300.00 for whole machine or will sell parts.
I will be taking whatever is left to the scrap yard monday.

This appears to be a 1960 model with a B&S #9 taper in the spindle.20210810_181905.jpg20210810_181908.jpg20210810_181931.jpg20210810_181855.jpg20210810_181849.jpg

Some say once you've had a Gorton it spoils you for anything else. It looks like a decent deal for 300$

If it sells for 300.00 I will make 50.00 for being in the right place at the right time and having a truck I could haul it 45-50 miles in.
Used parts can be hard to come by.

Well it doesn't matter a bit, but if I was a little closer to retirement, I'd give you that. Looks like it's used to being outside, which is probably the only place I could fit it. I've got a decent covered patio. I wonder if there's a good way to disguise it as a grill or something when the wife comes out here.

.......it could hold a very big umbrella!

I hope someone takes it, it looks like a great deal for a beautiful machine!

Well I did see patio umbrellas on sale at Walmart.
What color would your wife like?

Wish I was closer and had the space. That price is only $300 more than I paid for mine.

From the Gorton mail list many years ago. “Those Gorton Mastermills make a Bridgeport look like Silly Putty”
