JC Grant Mil-lathe question

I have an acquaintance who has the above machine. He is trying to find out what type of collets it takes. Does anyone know what collets they use?

If that doesn't work how about using some modeling clay to get rough dimensions for the collet? From there you can search to find one that may be a match.

Interesting machine, sold in kit form? The lathe setup doesn't seem all that great though.

No not Fred.

I saw the one Fred had on vintage machinery. I will have to try contacting him.
I have zero knowledge of this machine. I only found out last night about it during a conversation.
