Joined the Rhodes family

i've always wanted to make on the of the impossible dovetail cubes. This very well could be a good excuse to make a few.

Yeah, seems like everyone who has these rhodes shapers seem to like them. I really lucked out.
 
I know you said you got the wavy finish worked out but here is a thing I learned from operating shapers in the past.
You can set the feed so it moves on the forward stroke or on the back stroke.
If the feed advances on the forward stroke it can sometimes give an odd finish.
So make sure the feed advances on the back stroke. See what that does for your finish.
