As I have already posted I put an EG-Dro on the dross slide of my Clausing 100 lathe and being the purist I am I did not want to drill or tap any new holes. So, the entire set up is mounted with magnets. I completed the shield for swarf today and as you can tell I went to the junk pile behind my shop for the material. The aluminum rail was given to me by someone who was remodeling a commercial building and is the bottom rail of sliding door frame. Took some work to whittle down the piece I needed. But what is time when it is a hobby you enjoy. in my world Hobbies should be fun and creative. Anyway here is some pics. The pictures with the indicators are jusst to show the kind of magnets I used. Very handy when limited for space and come with hooks for hanging things.
