A few months ago I placed an ad for machine work on FB Marketplace, then forgot about it. I recently got a response from a fab shop in Redding. He needed a few turned parts for a project his son was working on. He sent me a sketch and I gave him a price with him providing material. When his son brought the material up he also brought the sample part. I might have actually made time on them had there not been discrepancies between sample and sketch. All in all it was a good afternoon in the shop.
