Good afternoon everyone,

I just picked up a sweet slightly used BA960. It is three phase and I just got it running with a VFD and a few switches. Very nice machine. It came with a bunch of accessories including a B982WB air spindle. This is the kind that uses bushing inserts to hold the endmill shank. Does anyone know anything about these adapters? I am sure I could make some if I knew the dimensions. Any help would be greatly appreiciated.

Thank you, Marc

I have both types of air spindles. One that accepts 5c and one that uses bushings. Spindle Id on bushing style should be or at least on mine is 1.250. Make bushing od a snug fit to spindle then the ID of bushings will be 1.0, .750, or whatever sizes you’d like to grind. Concentricity will be important. I have seen bushings sold through all industrial tools. Just need to match up your sizes.
