just out of curiousity i tried a couple things that were mentioned in my previous thread. i.e. spraying the kennedy paint with a clear lacquer; and using a heat gun. after priming part of a scraped stop sign and painting 2 parts with kennedy aerosol; waited 20 minutes and tried both methods. nothing. next sprayed again, and while still a little tacky. did it again. nothing. so, considering that the kennedy paint is odorless; i belive that it is water base and not affected by any attempt to cause wrinlkes.. i did recoat a lid on one of the boxes that was in poor shape. the original wrinkles came thru the new coat. so. my guess is that if you sand smooth and prime a kennedy box you should use a guarenteed wrinkle paint such as VHT , then coat with kennedy for color
