I was going to set up a flood cooling system, but I did some reading on the web, unless you do a lot of machining, it is very messy, and you spend a lot of time cleaning up. As mentioned above use a spray mist. Many of the videos I have seen, the operator uses a spray bottle and sprays the coolant every once is a while, while milling or turning.
Years ago, I started out programming CNC machines in a small machine shop, Every once in a while I would run the turning center. At the end of the day I was covered with vegetable based coolant. And our turning center had a sliding door and was enclosed.
For a home shop I would go with the spray mist.
