a few years ago I was given a 12 inch craftsman bandsaw found in the trash. Once I put a key on the pulley it worked okay. It didn't come with any fence though and I recintly had need for some thin rips that I cannot do well enough freehand. Invetrigating options I settled on a kreg if it can be made to fit. Kreg doesn't know ( I asked), and search just found some others asking without an answer.

the stock rip fench attachs to the rear, on the bottom of the table. The table seems too thin to drill it and use the fences' holes. seem like the fence wants holes half off the bottom of the table.

so took the stock fence support off and used that as a template to drill so one inch angle (i had some iron, but I'd go for aluminium, if buying as everthing else is non ferrius here). Then attach facing down, figure out where I want the fence, clamp and drill both.

Attach everything and I can make some nice thin rips. I'm getting .020 taper across a foot so still some more adjustment to do, but I figure I'd post this now so thet if anyaone else asks they know it can be done but not easy.

pictures attached. Third is the best view I have of how it fits but hard to understand I know.
