Lathe DRO for Dummies (like me)

I installed a magnetic scale DRO online a few years back and would use it for rudimentary measuring, mainly because of poor eye site prevents me from reading the dials on my lathe. The controller seemed to have many features, but the hand book was about useless. One day I decided to call the company and one of the owners answered and was kind enough to walk me through all the features that I wanted in a DRO. Then he directed me to the Library on the company website and they put together cheatsheats on every operation. I am finally getting the most out of my lathe DRO.
