Laziness breeds innovation

If your width of cut is closer to the radius of the cutter you will vastly reduce any climb milling issue. Pehaps a smaller diameter cutter with more teeth will allow a cutting pass on the return.
I thought about that. But I had a brand new, super sharp, 5/8" carbide bit I was just dying to torture. It didn't even blink.
I normally use a much smaller bit but I'm usually not pulling that much metal out of a part.
