Leveling foot pads for my lathe?

made mine outta some 2 inch brass

In commercial settings we used a 4" x 6" x 3/8" thick stainless plate with a divot made by a ball end mill in the center. If machine position was critical, we used a style with a 1/2" hole at opposite corners. The plate could be fastened to the floor and the machine was located to the pad by the center divot. The machine could be moved, if necessary, and relocated without a problem.
