This belongs to my friendly neighborhood machinist who doesn't do Internet. I'm trying to help him find cutter bits since he wore them out doing something for me. He said he has had it for a long time and it is marked Herter Federal Republic of Germany or something like that. They are held in with the bent cam pieces and a set screw pushes down on the end of that. Any suggestions?

It is Hertel Fix-Perfect face mill which uses a "bent nail" to clamp the insert.

Kennametal purchased Hertel 25 or so years ago and should offer inserts for this style milling cutter.

Check kennametal dot com and their tech support folks for assistance.
