Hey folks. I'm looking for info - manuals, schematics, etc. - on a baby drill press I've had for a while.
From what I can find on the internet, though not listed on the machine anywhere, it's an Ohio Forge brand. The model number is 510 - 424, manufacture date 6/1987 I believe.
I know already it's a cheapie - I bought it from a guy at school for like 30 bucks - and the thought of a 25-year-old Chinese drill press is a bit scary, but it works, haha. I'm wanting to make a set of pulleys to make it go slower, down to maybe 200 - 250 RPM. I'd like something to go by before I go digging into the screws and such.
Oh, as well, if anyone knows offhand how to remove the drill chuck in such a drill press, I'd be intrigued!
