The guy is crafty. Drilling maybe 2" metal with a hand drill. Cut internal keyways with a file. Mill keyway with a lathe with barely "any adapter" at all.

Though I'd like to have a bender, he could have just shown a few photos that could be viewed in a matter of seconds, rather than having to skip through nearly 15 minutes of video.

Some of the steps are certainly redundant for some viewers. Then some steps I felt like he somehow went too fast, or just something I don't see.
For example, when welding things, alignment is very hard for a decent precision. I spent a day getting stuff lined up correctly before because welding tends to tilt things, even after I tack them carefully around, and little by little. But it could just be his experience and he tacked even less (heat) than I did. But even with that, I would measure in between weld and repeatedly using heat and clamp to correct things.

Another thing I saw was that the harden steel shafts he cut with the lathe, single point threaded and then milled appears to be "too" easy. Maybe carbide can do that, but if it's harden, I don't know if it's that easy. Maybe some of the more experienced here would share their views.

All in all, he seems to get things done very fast on every step, which is admirable (I don't mean about fast video).

By the way, there are 3 parts in this video. 2 parts mainly and last part is the test drive.
