mill/drill quill sticky

I have a jet jmd 18 mill drill and I've noticed lately that the quill is a lil sticky and doesn't retract as well as it once did anybody know how to remedy this problem been searching for maybe a video or pictorial on the subject without any luck ????

It sounds to me like you just need to take the quill out and give everything a good clean and re-lube. By that, I mean remove the downfeed pinion and drop out the quill. These machines are pretty simple to work on.
