Minimum clearance in front of lathe and mill?

It was pretty simple and so far has worked out quite well. It is a little bit of a hassle, but takes less than 5 min to set up.



The mount is just a piece of scrap redwood 2x6 bolted to the bench with 2 carriage bolts run through from the bottom of the board. It holds the grinder very solidly.
