Mitsubishi J3 J4 Servos

Thank you for any info in advance guys. I am buidling a 12 z I H mill to cnc .I would like to use j3 or j4 mitsubishi servos and drivers. Im on a budget and am finding j3 and j4 servos but no sets together.So the question is can you use a j3 servo with a j4 driver or vice versa.

There is a lot of variety in the HF/HG series servo motors. All of the motors use J3 cables, so (in that respect) they are compatible. The only difference I see in the termination blocks of the J3 and J4 are the addition of CN2L and C4 to the J4. That appears to add encoder functionality and an auxilary battery for absolute position detection.
