My machines seem to be dropping faster that I can repair them...
Went to use the mill yesterday to make up a simple drill jig plate of 1/4" holes, and first off my simpleton Mitu DRO had battery issues, but that another story.
When cranking on 'X' is was all 'hurky-jerky', kinda 'smooth/easy' then 'tight' all in one to one and a half cranks and it over the entire travel.
Any ideas what to look for? I'm about to grab a fresh cup of coffee and head out to shop and see what damage I can do..
(After (15) years, I'm really starting to think this mill just plain doesn't like me... It's always something. Probably the operator.)
Thanks,
_Dan
